History

On Paper LLC was born out of a gap—and a deep desire to close it.

Founded in 2007 and formalized in 2012, On Paper began with a mission to support BIPOC-led organizations whose brilliance was often trapped in oral tradition, undocumented systems, or scattered files. Brianna Miller, a former nonprofit executive herself, saw how vulnerable an organization became when key staff left and institutional knowledge disappeared.

So she did what needed to be done. She got things on paper. And helped others do the same.

As the work deepened, so did the questions. It wasn’t just about documentation anymore—it was about leadership alignment, organizational identity, team communication, and sustainable strategy. In response to what her clients were experiencing, Brianna evolved On Paper LLC into a practice grounded in four core pillars:

• Coaching, to support the leader

• Consulting, to support the structure

• Training, to support the team

• Assessment, to support the truth

 

Each pillar meets a specific need. Together, they offer a comprehensive, values-rooted path to real, lasting change.
